Solar. BESS. Grid – this is the modern philosophy of solar sector and energy industry development implemented by the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine, promoting sustainable growth, energy efficiency, and the country’s energy independence. The Association is the largest professional organization uniting participants of the solar energy sector, actively developing the directions of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and grid integration. The Solar Energy Association brings together more than 90 companies and business groups in the energy sector, as well as over 400 owners of residential solar power plants. The members of the Association include investors in industrial solar power plants, Ukrainian and international developers, designers, EPC contractors, developers, solar service companies, manufacturers and suppliers of energy equipment and photovoltaic modules, distributors and installers of solar systems, suppliers and manufacturers of battery energy storage systems, as well as legal and consulting firms, insurance and logistics companies. Together, we form a professional community of more than 9,000 investors, engineers, experts, scientists, students and entrepreneurs who are building the new energy architecture of Ukraine.

On September 3, SEAU, together with JSC “Market Operator”, organized the forum “Charge and Earn: How Energy Storage Systems Unlock New Opportunities in the Electricity Market”. The event brought together more than 300 participants. The forum reaffirmed that energy storage systems are a key element of the new architecture of Ukraine’s electricity market.

The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine participated in Intersolar Europe for the third time with its own exhibition stand. This year, we once again presented the activities of SEAU and our partner companies.
The SEAU stand attracted the attention of numerous international experts and investors among more than 80,000 exhibition visitors. Guests showed strong interest in the partners’ products as well as the Association’s projects and initiatives.
