Today, April 17, a ceremonial event for the 100 gREen AWARD-2025 – the Global 100 RE Ukraine award recognizing the best implemented green transformation projects in Ukraine – will take place in Kyiv.
Among the award winners are members of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine: Atmosfera, Embud LLC, GREEN SYSTEM, as well as the Association’s educational partner – NTU “KhPI”.
The award brings together case studies that demonstrate the real contribution of renewable energy, energy efficiency, bioenergy, energy storage systems, and energy modernization to strengthening the resilience of the state, communities, and businesses. In the context of the full-scale war, such initiatives confirm that Ukraine’s green transformation is already underway – in a systematic, technological, and energy security-focused manner.
This recognition is not only a form of public acknowledgment but also a tool to increase the visibility of solutions that are shaping a new energy architecture for the country – decentralized, resilient, and innovative.
Special attention within the award is given to teams, communities, companies, and educational institutions that implement practical solutions: ensuring the autonomy of critical infrastructure, modernizing social facilities, developing manufacturing, and building the sector’s human capital.
Background: Global 100 RE Ukraine is an initiative aimed at developing renewable energy and accelerating Ukraine’s transition to clean and sustainable energy. The organization supports the implementation of RES projects, conducts educational campaigns, and cooperates with government institutions to shape effective energy policies. The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine is a co-founder of Global 100% RE Ukraine and actively participates in joint events and initiatives. SEAU Chairman of the Board, Vladyslav Sokolovskyi, is a member of the organization’s board.
