On April 17, the 100 gREen AWARD–2025 ceremony by Global 100 RE Ukraine took place at MIM Business School in Kyiv, honoring the best implemented green transformation projects in Ukraine.
This year, 18 projects were awarded for their contribution to shaping a resilient, decentralized, and energy-efficient energy system. The preparation for the competition lasted over 5 months, while the selection of winners took more than 3 months. Vladyslav Sokolovskyi, Chairman of the Board of SEAU, served on the nomination committee and directly participated in evaluating the projects.
The event brought together representatives of government institutions, international organizations (UNDP, GIZ), the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, профиль associations, municipalities, utilities, universities, businesses, the banking sector, and donor initiatives, as well as embassies and international partners supporting sustainable energy development in Ukraine.
Among the 100 gREen AWARD–2025 winners are projects by SEAU members and partners:
- “Best Donor-Funded Renewable Energy Project for Critical Infrastructure” – “Clean Energy for Clean Water” by Atmosfera, implemented in partnership with Water Mission and supported by the Swiss Confederation, ensuring autonomous operation of water supply facilities through solar power plants with energy storage.
- “Leader in the Development of Ukrainian Solar Panel Manufacturing” – “Solar Panel Production” by Embud LLC (BLS — Bright Life Solar), demonstrating the growth of domestic PV manufacturing even during wartime.
- “Best Clean Energy Project for Preschool Education” – “Solar Power Plants for Kindergartens” by GREEN SYSTEM, strengthening energy security of social infrastructure.
- “Best Workforce Development Project for the Energy Transition” – EcoSkill program by NTU “KhPI”, implemented in cooperation with the NGO “Association of Young Scientists of NTU ‘KhPI’” and supported by Razom Relief, combining professional training with social adaptation of internally displaced persons.
During the ceremony, Vladyslav Sokolovskyi also presented awards in two nominations:
- “Best Energy Resilience Project for Water Supply” – a solar power plant for a water utility in Khmelnytskyi, implemented by the Panorama Group, providing a comprehensive solution for energy independence;
- “Leader in Industrial Energy Storage” – a megawatt-scale industrial BESS project for self-consumption, implemented by Voltage Group, demonstrating effective integration of renewable energy and energy storage systems.
The 100 gREen AWARD–2025 confirmed that despite the challenges of full-scale war, Ukraine continues to advance steadily along the path of green transformation – systematically, technologically, and through strong partnerships between the state, business, and the international community.
SEAU invites companies, communities, and organizations to join Green Award 2026 and present their own green transformation case studies.
