From May 6 to 9, the team of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine (SEAU), together with partners Stable Energy, Embud, and VOLTAGE Group, proudly represented the Ukrainian renewable energy sector at the world’s largest solar energy exhibition — Intersolar Europe 2025, held in Munich.
Booth No. 159 in Hall A3 became a hub for the Ukrainian solar community — a meeting point for new connections, business talks, and constructive negotiations. The exhibition took place within the framework of The smarter E Europe, which brought together over 110,000 visitors and 3,000 exhibitors from across the globe.
On May 7, the German-Ukrainian Conference “Solar Energy in Ukraine: Market, Prospects, Partnerships, and Investments” was held as part of the exhibition. The event was co-organized by SEAU, AHK Ukraine, AWE, and BSW e.V., with the support of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine and the State Enterprise “Guaranteed Buyer.”
The conference gathered participants from both Ukraine and Germany — investors, project developers, legal experts, government representatives, and international organizations. The event was opened by the Consul General of Ukraine in Munich, Mr. Yuriy Nykytiuk. Among the speakers were: Yurii Favorskyi (SEAU), Nataliya Hryshchenko (AHK Ukraine), Liudmyla Sokolovska, Volodymyr Zavrin (Stable Energy), Marina El Ghul (VOLTAGE Group), Herwig Maassen (PwC), Matthias Klachold (Euler Hermes), Jan Heinemann (DEG), Theo Kraus (GIZ), and others.
In the following days, SEAU held numerous working meetings with key international stakeholders, including: European Climate Foundation, Oleksandr Dombrovskyi (Global 100% RE Ukraine, MHP Eco Energy), David Wedepohl (BSW e.V.), Pawel Jamrozek (RelyEZ Energy Group), Gerard de Leede (Solarge), as well as TERRAPINN, PowerChina, Sofarsolar, Sungrow. SEAU also had the pleasure of welcoming members and friends at the exhibition: Atmosfera, Solar Steelconstruction, Huawei Ukraine, Photomate Ukraine, Europower Enerji, SMA, EAB Solar, DTEK Renewables.
The Ukrainian delegation’s booth was visited by distinguished guests including Hans-Josef Fell (President of Energy Watch Group), Frédéric Barbier (European Representative of Das Solar), and Joachim Turre (German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development). SEAU was also pleased to welcome Natalia Fibrig from Ukraine 2Power, Georg Zachmann and Alisa Schubert from Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin.
Intersolar Europe 2025 became a powerful platform for presenting Ukraine’s potential, building new partnerships, sharing technological solutions, and promoting clean energy on the global stage. SEAU extends sincere thanks to its partners — Stable Energy, Embud, and VOLTAGE Group — for their teamwork and dedication.
We also thank our collaborators for their support: Atmosfera, Sokolovsky & Partners, SOLARKIT Magyarország, DTEK Renewables, Huawei Ukraine, Photomate Ukraine, AHK Ukraine, AWE, BSW e.V., SolarPower Europe, the State Agency on Energy Efficiency, Guaranteed Buyer, Solar Steelconstruction, Global 100% RE Ukraine, Solarge, MHP Eco Energy.
The SEAU team returned to Ukraine inspired by new partnerships, long-time friends, and fresh contacts, knowledge, and ideas.
