Recognizing the need for joint action aimed at developing the hydrogen economy in Ukraine using solar energy and the introduction of modern hydrogen technologies in the Ukrainian energy sector, the Public Association “Solar Energy Association of Ukraine” and the Energy Association “Ukrainian Hydrogen Council” signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Sustainable Partnership.
The two organizations agreed to work together to effectively cooperate in the development of “green” hydrogen and accelerate the introduction of hydrogen technologies in the energy market of Ukraine.
In particular, the Memorandum provides for:
- identification and settlement of problems related to the introduction of hydrogen technologies in Ukraine;
- assistance in the promotion of joint projects of hydrogen and solar energy;
- organization and joint participation in thematic events, establishment of international cooperation.
The document was signed by Artem Semenishin – Director of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine, and Oleksandr Riepkin – President of the Ukrainian Hydrogen Council.
