Dear members of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine! SEAU has prepared a new issue of the “Solar Digest” covering news from 2 to 23 March 2026.
In this issue, you will find the SEAU 2025 Report (90+ pages of analytics, achievements, and tangible results of the community’s work). Despite all challenges, SEAU has not only maintained its position but strengthened it and continued to grow.
Key results of 2025 in brief:
- In 2025, 19 new companies joined SEAU, and the Association co-organized 11 international and Ukrainian exhibitions and forums. A major achievement was contributing to the extension for three years of VAT and customs duty exemptions on the import of PV modules and energy storage equipment, as well as actively protecting the interests of market participants, including residential solar owners.
- SEAU actively cooperated with government authorities – the Ministry of Energy, NEURC, and the профиль parliamentary committee – preparing around 150 official appeals. Dozens of industry events and webinars were held, contributing to community growth and increased media presence.
- A separate development focus was the launch of the Energy Storage (BESS) Committee. The Association also strengthened cooperation with other renewable energy associations and key partners by signing several memorandums.
- SEAU достойно represented Ukraine at international platforms, including Intersolar Europe and Rebuild Ukraine, and participated in European projects. At the same time, the Association allocated UAH 400,000 to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, combining industry development with contributions to national resilience.
This is a shared achievement of all SEAU members.

- A homeowners association (HOA) in Kyiv is seeking installers for a ~30 kW solar project to support critical infrastructure of a residential building.
- A district state administration in Kyiv is considering installing up to 30 MW of solar generation and is looking for potential contractors.

News from SEAU partners and members:
- Oleksii Shyshkanov, expert at Dolya Solar Energy, stated in an interview with Komersant Ukrainskyi that demand for solar power plants, inverters, and energy storage systems in Ukraine has effectively doubled over the past year.
- On 26 March 2026 in Kyiv, within GreenExpo 2026, Atmosfera will hold the conference “Business Ahead of Time: Energy of Solutions 2026” (VDNH, Pavilion 6, UNIVERSUM HALL).
- The project “Clean Energy for Clean Water” by Atmosfera and the project of domestic solar module manufacturing with hybrid generation by EMBUD LLC became winners of the 100 gREen AWARD-2025.
- Experts from VIATEC provided comments to UNIAN on the potential of installing solar panels on balconies and facades of apartment buildings.
