SOLARsk, a member of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine, has completed the construction of Ukraine’s first solar power plant built on the basis of a Ukrainian-made tracker system – the HSAT HORIZON STR-111.
This project marks a milestone for the renewable energy sector, demonstrating the strong potential of Ukrainian technologies in the field of sustainable energy.

Construction took only five months, underscoring the high level of expertise and efficiency of the SOLARsk team.
The HSAT HORIZON STR-111 tracker system automatically follows the Sun, adjusting the tilt angle of photovoltaic modules throughout the day. Its proprietary control algorithm increases power generation by up to 20% compared to fixed installations, particularly during peak electricity price hours.
Thanks to this technology, solar plant owners can enhance profitability and optimize energy sales on the market.
“The market is changing, and we must stay one step ahead. Our trackers enable maximum use of solar potential and generate more income during the hours when electricity is most expensive”, said Yevhen Yaremenko, CEO of SOLARsk.
This facility is the first in Ukraine built with a single-axis tracker of domestic production. Its commissioning represents a technological leap forward for the industry, improving efficiency, resilience, and environmental sustainability in energy generation.
The use of the HSAT HORIZON STR-111 system helps reduce CO₂ emissions by about 20% more than traditional static systems, with a payback period of approximately seven years.
The company plans to expand the plant and integrate energy storage systems (BESS), creating a powerful synergy between generation and storage.

The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine (SEAU) congratulates SOLARsk on implementing this innovative project, proving that Ukrainian engineering solutions can set new technological standards and strengthen the country’s energy independence.
SEAU consistently supports the implementation of tracker systems in solar energy, as such technologies enhance the efficiency of solar power plants and promote the development of distributed generation in Ukraine.
