During the meeting, participants will define the Committee’s priorities for 2026–2027 and outline key steps towards creating the conditions for the development of agrivoltaics in Ukraine.
Key topics for discussion:
- Legal framework for agrivoltaics. Ukrainian legislation currently does not define the concept of “agrivoltaics” or establish a legal framework that would allow agricultural crops to be grown and electricity to be generated simultaneously on the same land plot.
- European experience in regulating dual land use and opportunities for its application in Ukraine.
- Legislative proposals and the Committee’s position on the relevant draft legislation.
- Research base and pilot projects – the concept of establishing a network of pilot sites to study agrivoltaic technologies under Ukrainian conditions.
Following the meeting, participants are expected to define the Committee’s next steps and approve a plan for developing legislative proposals.
