The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine held an open meeting of the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Committee together with SEAU partner Fox ESS on the topic: “Fox ESS: Unique Opportunities for Ukraine – Portfolio, Service, Cases.”
The event took place on May 7, 2026, in Zoom format and brought together representatives of businesses, EPC companies, installers, energy solution integrators, developers, and all market participants interested in the development of modern solutions in the field of solar energy and energy storage systems.
The meeting was moderated by Serhii Ruchko, Head of the SEAU BESS Committee. The speakers of the event were Volodymyr Khrystiuk, Country Manager of Fox ESS in Ukraine, and Artem Bazhanov, Product Director of Fox ESS in Ukraine.
During the meeting, participants discussed the global development of Fox ESS, modern technological solutions for the Ukrainian market, service support, and practical case studies in the implementation of energy storage and solar generation projects.
As part of the presentation, Fox ESS experts provided a detailed overview of the company’s global structure, manufacturing capabilities, and business development approach. As noted by Volodymyr Khrystiuk, the company is currently represented in more than 70 countries worldwide and is actively expanding its presence in Ukraine.
The speaker also paid special attention to the company’s manufacturing capabilities and vertically integrated business model:
“Fox ESS means our own R&D, our own manufacturing, our own sales, and our own service. Vertical integration enables us to provide comprehensive solutions, a stable supply chain, and competitive equipment pricing.”
According to company representatives, Fox ESS’s total manufacturing capacity will reach 61 GW after the launch of a new plant, while the company itself is part of Tsingshan Group, which belongs to the Tier-listed companies.
During the technical part of the presentation, Artem Bazhanov introduced the company’s product solutions for both residential and commercial & industrial sectors, including:
- T-MAX and T-MAX Plus energy storage systems;
- hybrid and on-grid inverters;
- backup power solutions;
- EV charging stations;
- integrated solutions for energy independence of homes and businesses.
Particular interest among participants was generated by the T-MAX Plus series, which combines the functionality of an ESS and a hybrid inverter.
“The T-MAX Plus system allows connection of both solar panels and a diesel generator. This makes it possible to ensure backup power supply while reducing capital expenditures for project implementation,” emphasized Artem Bazhanov.
The speakers also focused in detail on uninterrupted power supply and system operation in grid-connected and off-grid modes.
As part of the presentation, the experts also introduced solutions for the residential segment, including the integrated Avocado energy storage system, Mira ESS, inverters, EV charging stations, and heat pumps. All components can be managed through a single mobile application, enabling comprehensive energy independence solutions for households.
A separate part of the presentation was dedicated to service support in Ukraine. Fox ESS representatives announced the establishment of a local service team, the creation of a spare parts warehouse, and the launch of a fast equipment replacement model.
“We want to guarantee equipment replacement within 24 hours in cases where it is necessary for our partners and customers in Ukraine,” stated Mr. Khrystiuk.
Fox ESS representatives also noted that the standard warranty for energy storage systems is 10 years, with the possibility of extension up to 20 years.
In addition, according to the experts, the company’s equipment has been adapted to Ukrainian climate conditions:
“We have fully adapted our portfolio for the Ukrainian market — all solutions are already equipped with a ‘smart’ heating system that has successfully passed winter operation at temperatures down to -25°C,” noted Volodymyr Khrystiuk.
“Today we see that Europe is increasingly looking at the Ukrainian experience of grid/off-grid systems, microgrids, and virtual power plants. The Ukrainian market is creating unique practical case studies that are becoming interesting for other countries,” the expert emphasized.
The meeting once again confirmed the market’s strong interest in modern energy storage solutions and practical tools for ensuring the energy independence of businesses and households.
SEAU thanks Fox ESS, the speakers, the moderator, and all participants of the event for the open professional dialogue, practical expertise, and active discussion of modern energy storage solutions.
P.S. After the event, participants received informational materials. The recording of the meeting and the speakers’ presentation will also be available in the upcoming issue of the “Solar Digest.”
