The expert partner of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine (SEAU) — JSC “Market Operator” — has announced enrollment for the “Green+” course, which will take place on 2 February 2026 as part of a social Program aimed at increasing awareness of the operation of Ukraine’s electricity market.
In the current context of the energy transition, the development of renewable energy and the deployment of energy storage systems (ESS) are key factors for energy resilience, business competitiveness, and Ukraine’s post-war recovery.
For this reason, JSC “Market Operator” systematically invests in educational initiatives for market participants, focusing on the practical aspects of RES operation under the new market conditions.
The “Green+” course is dedicated to the activities of electricity producers using renewable energy sources and energy storage installations, the specifics of electricity sales under various market models, as well as the prospects for integrating green generation and BESS into Ukraine’s electricity market.
Course speakers include:
- Hennadii Ivanov (JSC “Guaranteed Buyer”),
- Serhii Kravchuk (NESS ENERGY LLC),
- experts from JSC “Market Operator”.
Course participants will gain:
- a deep understanding of the principles of the green energy market and the integration of RES into Ukraine’s power system;
- practical tools for businesses, including the use of energy storage systems to improve efficiency and energy independence;
- a detailed overview of ESS operations — from licensing and technological solutions to participation in electricity market segments;
- expert consultations from practitioners in the fields of RES, balancing, and market mechanisms.
