The head of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine Artem Semenishin took part in an expert meeting of RES market participants on “Anti-crisis measures to support renewable energy”, which took place on August 4 at the CCI of Ukraine with the support of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association, Ukrainian Hydrogen Council, LF Sayenko Kharenko and Wind Farm LLC.
The participants of the event discussed the need to revise the Energy Strategy of Ukraine until 2035 and continue finalizing the Concept of “green” energy transition, presented by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine in March this year, to prioritize RES development in Ukraine and its new goals. Also, the speakers argued the need to create legal mechanisms to stimulate the construction of plants for the production of equipment and components for solar, wind and hydrogen energy in Ukraine, which will create new jobs, pay taxes and attract investment.
The participants of the meeting approved the Recommendations based on the results of the meeting, which will be sent to the address of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine this week.
