“Modern Energy” has completed the supply and deployment of industrial energy storage systems for the Lake Park suburban complex in the city of Samar, Dnipropetrovsk region.
As part of the project, five industrial Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Huawei LUNA200-215-2S10 with a total storage capacity of 1,075 kWh were installed. This solution enables uninterrupted operation of the complex even during prolonged blackouts.
“Modern Energy” acted as the equipment supplier as an official Huawei distributor in Ukraine, providing the facility with advanced technologies designed for intensive, multi-zone operation.
The project was developed based on the actual operational needs of the complex. Lake Park is a recreational space featuring family and adult swimming pools, restaurant infrastructure, sports, and leisure areas. Stable power supply is a critical factor for service quality, as any outages directly affect guest comfort.
Key advantages of the selected solution include scalability and industrial-grade storage capacity, reliable autonomous operation, and the ability to integrate with on-site solar generation. Lake Park currently operates a 240 kW solar power plant and plans further expansion. Combined with energy storage systems, this creates a fully integrated energy ecosystem that enables efficient energy management and reduces dependence on the external grid.
In addition, the use of renewable energy sources and BESS helps reduce environmental impact and demonstrates a responsible business approach to resource utilization.
The Lake Park case demonstrates that energy storage systems today are not only protection against blackouts but also a tool for service reliability, cost optimization, and long-term competitive advantage. The combination of solar generation, Huawei technologies, and the expertise of “Modern Energy” forms an energy model that already meets the expectations of modern Ukrainian businesses.
