On June 6, Kyiv will host Solar Agro Conference 2025 – a platform bringing together agricultural and energy sector leaders to jointly advance an energy-independent and efficient agri-sector.
As part of the event, Vladyslav Sokolovskyi, Chairman of the Board of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine, will moderate Panel 1: “AgroSun of Ukraine 2030”, focused on trends, opportunities, and national prospects for agrivoltaics.
Among the panelists:
- Andrii Herus, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy, Housing and Utilities Services of Ukraine;
- Hanna Zamazeeva, Head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine;
- Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
During the discussion, speakers will explore practical steps for developing agrivoltaics in Ukraine, the potential for solar power installations on agricultural enterprises, the economic viability of such investments, and the European experience with agrivoltaic solutions.
The event will take place at Parkovy Convention and Exhibition Center as part of the Agro Ukraine Summit – a major international agri-exhibition gathering over 2,500 CEOs and owners of agricultural companies.
