On September 10, 2026, AUTONOMY:FORUM took place in Kyiv as part of AUTONOMY:EXPO 2026, a professional exhibition focused on autonomous technologies and solutions for businesses, households, communities, and cities.
Vladyslav Sokolovskyi, Chairman of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine (SEAU), joined the forum and moderated the first panel discussion, “Government, Communities and Financial Institutions: Partnership for Business Continuity.”
The discussion focused on practical mechanisms for cooperation between government authorities, local communities, financial institutions, and businesses to ensure energy resilience, autonomy, and the uninterrupted operation of enterprises and critical infrastructure.
The key topics discussed included:
- legislation and regulation governing the implementation of energy projects;
- energy resilience of communities and the implementation of solutions to increase their autonomy;
- financing and support programs available for projects aimed at strengthening energy independence.
The panel speakers included:
- Olesya Mishchenko – Chairwoman of the Board of the Decarbonization Fund of Ukraine;
- Olena Buturlim – Head of the Ichniа City Council;
- Viktoriia Dmitriieva – Head of the Sales Department of the Municipalities and Utilities Sector at Ukrgasbank;
- Vitalii Butenko – General Director of the Municipal Enterprise “Vasylkivteplomerezha”;
- Roman Padalka – Project Investor.
The participants discussed practical aspects of implementing energy projects, including the role of financial instruments and government support programs, as well as the need for effective coordination among all stakeholders to create resilient energy infrastructure.
For SEAU, participation in professional discussions of this kind is an important opportunity to represent the interests of the solar energy sector, discuss current mechanisms for the development of distributed generation and energy storage, and contribute to finding practical solutions to strengthen Ukraine’s energy resilience.
Overall, AUTONOMY and Plug-In Ukraine, held in Kyiv on September 9–10, brought together 978 guests from different regions of Ukraine and provided a platform for professional dialogue, technology presentations, and new business connections.
