METSYS is a Ukrainian manufacturing company specializing in the production of complete metal mounting systems for photovoltaic modules for utility-scale ground-mounted, rooftop and other types of solar power plants. We are a mounting system manufacturer and do not act as an EPC contractor, focusing on engineering, manufacturing, system assembly and the supply of structures.
The company was founded in early 2023 by internally displaced people from Dnipro and Kharkiv, and began manufacturing operations in the autumn of the same year. Today, our production facility is located in Brovary, Kyiv Region, and occupies approximately 7,000 m².
Our core business is the manufacturing of photovoltaic module mounting systems made of steel and aluminium. We manufacture, assemble and supply steel profiles, aluminium fittings, fasteners and adjustable ballast systems. Our current production capacity exceeds 1,500 tonnes of steel profiles, 60 tonnes of aluminium fittings and 30 tonnes of fasteners per month, as well as more than 300 tonnes of adjustable ballast systems.
An important part of our operations is our in-house engineering bureau. We develop standard and customized photovoltaic module mounting systems, perform structural calculations and provide engineering support throughout projects. Our structures are designed in accordance with Eurocode 3 requirements, including EN 1993-3, and have a design service life of 25 years. The warranty period for the structures is 10 years.
Our manufacturing process is based on modern mechanized and automated metalworking technologies. The main technologies we use are steel coil slitting, roll forming and punching. For the production of structural profiles, we use structural steel grades including S350GD and S355JR.
One of our key competitive advantages is our significant stock of raw materials. The company maintains stocks of more than 3,000 tonnes of S350GD +Z350 structural steel coils and more than 1,000 tonnes of DX51D +Z275 steel coils. This enables us to ensure production continuity and respond quickly to the requirements of large-scale projects.
METSYS focuses on utility-scale ground-mounted solar power plants and large-volume supply projects. We are able to prepare production for shipment within short lead times: approximately 10 days pass from receiving a commercial offer to the first shipment of 20 tonnes of piles. The standard supply capacity for large projects can reach up to 20 tonnes per day for a single customer, while, if required, we can organize short-term peak shipments of 40–60 tonnes per day. This operating model enables us to support the implementation of large-scale projects, including solar power plants with a capacity of 100 MW and above.
Our manufacturing process uses a fully dry metal-processing method: from the coil raw material to the finished profile, the product surface does not come into contact with liquids. Raw materials, semi-finished products and finished goods are stored in dry, covered warehouse and production facilities.
In addition to mounting systems for the solar energy sector, METSYS supplies a wide range of structural profiles for steel construction. We also operate our own tooling department, which allows us to manufacture and maintain the production tooling, equipment and spare parts required for manufacturing and developing new products in-house.
Our manufacturing facility is certified in accordance with EN 1090-1, EN 1090-2, EN 1090-4 and ISO 9001. These certifications confirm that our production processes and quality management system comply with established international requirements.
We are open to cooperation with installation companies, engineering and design firms, system integrators and distributors. Our business model combines in-house engineering, serial production, significant raw material stocks and the ability to promptly supply large volumes of products.
METSYS is developing as a Ukrainian manufacturing company focused on long-term operations in the solar energy and steel construction sectors. We invest in production capacity, engineering expertise and technologies, creating a competitive Ukrainian product for large-scale projects.
