The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine (SEAU) is pleased to announce the establishment of the SEAU Committee on Agrivoltaics.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
The decision to establish the new Committee was approved by the SEAU Board. <\/span>Oleg Prysiazhniuk<\/b> has been appointed as its Head. He is the Director of the Institute of Bioenergy Crops and Sugar Beet of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences and Professor.<\/span><\/p>\n The establishment of the Committee marks another step by SEAU in advancing agrivoltaics in Ukraine. Today, agricultural companies are already actively using solar power plants and battery energy storage systems. However, agrivoltaics in its classical form \u2013 combining agricultural production and renewable electricity generation on the same land plot \u2013 is still at an early stage of development in Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n The Committee\u2019s key areas of work will include:<\/span><\/p>\n SEAU is convinced that combining the expertise of the energy and agricultural sectors, scientific knowledge and international best practices will help create the necessary conditions for the development of agrivoltaics in Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n We sincerely welcome Oleg Prysiazhniuk to the SEAU team and look forward to long-term, productive and successful cooperation in developing this promising new field \u2013 agrivoltaics in Ukraine!<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine (SEAU) is pleased to announce the establishment of the SEAU Committee on Agrivoltaics.
