From 23 to 25 June 2026, the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine (SEAU) represented the Ukrainian solar community at Intersolar Europe 2026 for the fourth consecutive year. The exhibition was held in Munich, Germany, as part of The smarter E Europe, Europe’s largest platform for the energy industry.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
This year’s <\/span>Intersolar Europe<\/b> brought together more than <\/span>2,800 exhibitors<\/b>, approximately <\/span>100,000 visitors<\/b> from around the world, and nearly <\/span>200,000 m\u00b2<\/b> of exhibition space, with <\/span>Intersolar Europe<\/b> occupying more than <\/span>100,000 m\u00b2<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n Over the course of the three-day exhibition, the <\/span>SEAU stand<\/b> became one of the key international meeting points for the Ukrainian solar community. It served as a platform for presenting Ukraine’s solar and battery energy storage (BESS) market, holding negotiations with international partners, investors, equipment manufacturers, and representatives of industry associations.<\/span><\/p>\n The SEAU stand was supported by <\/span>SOLARKIT Europe<\/b> and <\/span>EMBUD LLC \u2013 BLS (Bright Life Solar)<\/b>, with whom the Association jointly showcased the potential of Ukraine’s renewable energy market and opportunities for international cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n On the opening day of the exhibition, SEAU also organized a dedicated <\/span>Networking Room<\/b>, where dozens of meetings took place with representatives of Ukrainian and international companies, investors, equipment manufacturers, and industry experts.<\/span><\/p>\n A particular focus of <\/span>Intersolar Europe 2026<\/b> was the presentation of Ukraine’s experience in developing distributed generation and battery energy storage systems under wartime conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n Vladyslav Sokolovskyi<\/b>, Chairman of the Board of SEAU, delivered presentations and participated in several international conference sessions and professional panel discussions.<\/span><\/p>\n During the <\/span>Global Associations Workshop<\/b>, he presented the transformation of Ukraine’s Solar and BESS market, emphasizing that despite the extensive destruction of the country’s energy infrastructure, Ukraine continues to rapidly develop distributed generation and battery energy storage systems.<\/span><\/p>\n During international panel discussions, Mr. Sokolovskyi also highlighted the transformation of Ukraine’s energy architecture, the role of solar generation and BESS in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure, the development of mini-grid solutions, and strengthening the energy resilience of local communities.<\/span><\/p>\n Another important topic discussed during the event was <\/span>Europe’s energy security<\/b>. Panel participants emphasized that Russia continues to use energy as a weapon of war, while Ukraine’s experience in rapidly deploying decentralized generation has already become highly valuable for European partners.<\/span><\/p>\n Once again, the participation of the Ukrainian solar community was supported by the <\/span>Consulate General of Ukraine in Munich<\/b>.
