{"id":23080,"date":"2026-06-12T10:09:18","date_gmt":"2026-06-12T07:09:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/?p=23080"},"modified":"2026-06-12T10:09:18","modified_gmt":"2026-06-12T07:09:18","slug":"seau-chairman-of-the-board-vladyslav-sokolovskyi-participated-in-the-international-conference-europe-poland-ukraine-cooperate-together26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/en\/seau-chairman-of-the-board-vladyslav-sokolovskyi-participated-in-the-international-conference-europe-poland-ukraine-cooperate-together26\/","title":{"rendered":"SEAU Chairman of the Board Vladyslav Sokolovskyi Participated in the International Conference Europe-Poland-Ukraine: Cooperate Together\u201926"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><i>On June 11, 2026, Vladyslav Sokolovskyi, Chairman of the Board of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine (SEAU), participated in the international conference \u201cEurope-Poland-Ukraine: Cooperate Together\u201926\u201d, held in Kyiv.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event was organized by the <\/span><b>Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers of Poland (ZPP)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> within the framework of the <\/span><b>Cooperate Together<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> program, which has been implemented since 2022 and aims to foster economic partnership between Ukraine, Poland, and the European Union in the context of Ukraine\u2019s reconstruction and European integration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of the conference, Vladyslav Sokolovskyi took part in <\/span><b>Panel III \u201cCooperation in the Energy Sector\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where, together with representatives of public authorities and international businesses, he discussed the transformation of Ukraine\u2019s energy system, the development of renewable energy, and prospects for international cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the discussion, the SEAU Chairman noted that the war had effectively accelerated the formation of a new architecture of Ukraine\u2019s energy system, in which solar power plants, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and distributed generation are playing an increasingly important role alongside large-scale generation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to SEAU estimates, approximately <\/span><b>1.5 GW of new solar capacity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was commissioned in Ukraine in 2025, bringing the total installed solar capacity in the government-controlled territory to around <\/span><b>8.5 GW<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In addition, more than <\/span><b>500 MW of energy storage systems<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were installed during the year, effectively marking the emergence of a full-fledged BESS market in Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cUkraine should not simply restore the pre-war energy model. We must use the reconstruction process to create a new energy architecture in which large-scale generation, renewable energy sources, energy storage systems, and consumers operate as a single integrated system,\u201d the expert emphasized.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Special attention during the discussion was paid to the prospects for Polish-Ukrainian cooperation. According to the SEAU Chairman, the most promising areas of collaboration include joint Solar + BESS projects, localization of manufacturing, EPC contracts, behind-the-meter solutions for businesses, and the development of local energy infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vladyslav Sokolovskyi stressed that the Ukrainian energy market already offers significant opportunities for international investors and that the most successful companies will be those that view Ukraine not as a market for one-time sales, but as a platform for long-term partnerships.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A key milestone of the conference was the signing of a <\/span><b>Memorandum of Cooperation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> between the <\/span><b>Solar Energy Association of Ukraine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><b>Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers of Poland (ZPP)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
