{"id":22853,"date":"2026-05-07T17:49:19","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T14:49:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/?p=22853"},"modified":"2026-05-07T17:49:19","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T14:49:19","slug":"huawei-presented-the-intelligent-fusionsolar-9-0-solution-for-the-new-energy-system-in-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/en\/huawei-presented-the-intelligent-fusionsolar-9-0-solution-for-the-new-energy-system-in-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"Huawei Presented the Intelligent FusionSolar 9.0 Solution for the New Energy System in Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><i>Partner of the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine \u2013 Huawei Ukraine \u2013 presented the new generation of intelligent solar energy solutions, FusionSolar 9.0, in Europe.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The official presentation took place on <\/span><b>April 29 in Frankfurt, Germany<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, during a dedicated <\/span><b>Huawei Digital Power summit<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> under the slogan: \u201cPioneering Leading Innovations, Redefining Optimal Lifecycle LCOE.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event <strong>brought together leading European energy companies<\/strong>, developers, technical experts, and industry associations to discuss new challenges of the energy transition and the role of modern technologies in ensuring grid stability.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to Huawei, the rapid growth of renewable energy in Europe is already creating new technical challenges for power grids: reduced system inertia, voltage and frequency fluctuations, and the need for new approaches to grid formation and support. At the same time, investors and generation owners seek to achieve the lowest possible levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) throughout the project lifecycle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To address these challenges, Huawei introduced <strong>FusionSolar 9.0<\/strong> \u2013 a next-generation platform for utility-scale and commercial &amp; industrial projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Among the key innovations of the solution are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the industry\u2019s first 1000 V AC photovoltaic system, enabling larger array configurations and reducing auxiliary equipment costs;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the world\u2019s first grid-forming string inverter, providing active grid support and improving power system stability with a high share of renewables;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">next-generation transformer substations with capacities of up to 11 MW.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As noted by <\/span><b>Steve Zhang<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, President of Smart PV &amp; ESS Product Line at Huawei Digital Power, FusionSolar 9.0 represents the biggest breakthrough in intelligent PV system architecture since the industry transitioned to string inverters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Huawei emphasizes that the new platform is designed not only to increase power generation but also to comprehensively address grid stability, safety, and economic efficiency challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Among the announced advantages of the solution are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reduced BOS costs;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">increased effective generation hours;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rapid response to voltage instability;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">grid frequency support through \u201cvirtual inertia\u201d;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">enhanced fire and electrical safety;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">extended equipment lifetime.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Special attention during the summit was given to the safety and reliability of energy infrastructure amid the rapid scaling of renewable energy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Patrick Zank<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Business Development Manager at VDE, stated:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cExpanding capacity without improving safety-oriented design will increase risks rather than progress.
