Ukraine was represented at the event by Rayton co-founder Demian Krutchenko<\/strong>, who shared practical experience in implementing distributed generation projects and ensuring power system resilience under wartime conditions \u2013 an area that attracted significant interest from Canadian partners.<\/span><\/p>\n During the discussion, participants addressed common challenges facing the energy systems of Ukraine and the Canadian province of <\/span>Alberta<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n In particular, the conversation focused on modernizing aging grids, system balancing, and the role of decentralized generation<\/strong>. While <\/span>Canada<\/b> faces challenges related to long-distance electricity transmission, Ukraine\u2019s key issue is maintaining stable power supply amid ongoing attacks on energy infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIn our discussions with Canadian colleagues, we saw that grid-balancing solutions lie in the same domain, even though the root causes of the problems differ. Today, the world is closely watching how Ukraine adapts to extreme conditions.
