The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine\u2019s partner, Huawei Ukraine, served as the official partner of the annual \u201cBusiness Energy\u201d Forum, which took place on October 24 in Kyiv.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The event brought together <\/span>over 300 participants and 30 speakers<\/b> from the public and private sectors, energy businesses, investment organizations, and regulatory bodies to discuss ways to strengthen <\/span>Ukraine\u2019s energy independence<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s forum focused on <\/span>the role of business in ensuring energy resilience<\/b> and developing modern technologies in the renewable energy sector \u2014 particularly local generation systems and the emerging <\/span>energy storage systems (BESS)<\/b> market. Participants discussed the readiness of the power system for the winter season, investment opportunities, and innovative solutions in the renewable energy field.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the <\/span>panel discussion on BESS development<\/b>, <\/span>Oleksandr Alokhin<\/b>, <\/span>Head of Huawei Digital Power in Ukraine<\/b>, shared the company\u2019s vision for implementing <\/span>technological solutions for energy flexibility and backup systems<\/b>, alongside representatives from <\/span>KNESS<\/b> and <\/span>DTEK Renewables<\/b>. He emphasized that <\/span>energy storage systems are a fundamental component of modern energy infrastructure<\/b>, shaping a new level of energy security. BESS solutions are already being deployed for both residential and industrial use, helping increase self-consumption of solar power, serve as backup power sources, and enhance the resilience of the energy system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr. Alokhin also highlighted the <\/span>technological advantages<\/b> of Huawei\u2019s solutions \u2014 <\/span>a high efficiency rate (91.3%)<\/b>, minimal energy losses, <\/span>a multi-level safety system<\/b>, <\/span>hybrid cooling technology<\/b>, and <\/span>continuous, maintenance-free operation<\/b> thanks to automated monitoring. These features have been proven in real-world conditions \u2014 including a case where a storage system <\/span>withstood the impact of a Shahed drone fragment<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Further emphasizing the reliability and technological sophistication of Huawei\u2019s products, <\/span>Artem Li<\/b>, Huawei Distribution Manager, outlined the <\/span>five-level protection system<\/b> and the <\/span>benefits of hybrid cooling<\/b>, which ensure safe and long-term operation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Huawei\u2019s participation as a forum partner demonstrates its consistent commitment to supporting the <\/span>transformation of Ukraine\u2019s energy market<\/b> and the <\/span>development of energy storage systems<\/b> as a key element of a <\/span>decentralized, efficient, and resilient Ukrainian energy system<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
