{"id":19035,"date":"2025-06-12T14:10:54","date_gmt":"2025-06-12T11:10:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/?p=19035"},"modified":"2025-06-12T14:10:54","modified_gmt":"2025-06-12T11:10:54","slug":"seau-joins-ecoskill-job-fair-and-announces-new-feature-for-workforce-search-on-the-installer-catalog-platform","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/en\/seau-joins-ecoskill-job-fair-and-announces-new-feature-for-workforce-search-on-the-installer-catalog-platform\/","title":{"rendered":"SEAU Joins EcoSKILL Job Fair and Announces New Feature for Workforce Search on the Installer Catalog Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><i>On June 11, the final stage of the EcoSKILL educational project took place \u2014 the Job Fair, which brought together graduates of the solar PV installation course and installation companies currently experiencing a sharp shortage of qualified personnel.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EcoSKILL is implemented by the <\/span><b>NGO &#8220;Association of Young Scientists of NTU \u2018KhPI\u2019&#8221;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with the support of <\/span><b>Razom for Ukraine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and partners from the RES sector. <\/span><b>The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine (SEAU) acted as the information partner of the EcoSKILL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> educational project and participated in the event at all levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SEAU\u2019s Chairman of the Board, <\/span><b>Vladyslav Sokolovskyi, addressed the participants with opening remarks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, emphasizing that the shortage of skilled labor in the solar energy sector is one of the key challenges to its further development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;We receive clear feedback from our members \u2014 installation companies, over 50 of which are listed in the Association&#8217;s Catalog: there is a lack of trained workers in the market. At the same time, at least 800 MW of new solar power capacity was installed in Ukraine in 2024 alone, mostly for businesses and households. This segment is rapidly growing, and the demand for qualified installers is only increasing,&#8221; \u2013 noted Mr. Sokolovskyi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>As part of the cooperation with NTU &#8220;KhPI&#8221;, SEAU announced the launch of a new section on the <a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.aseu.org.ua\/\">Installer Catalog<\/a> website \u2014 Job Fair.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This online platform will become a permanent tool connecting graduates of training programs and installation companies listed in SEAU\u2019s catalog.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The Job Fair platform, as a part of the Installer Catalog, will provide<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Installer companies registered in the Catalog with access to candidate profiles and resumes of course graduates;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Graduates with the ability to submit information via a dedicated form including specialty, experience, and willingness to relocate.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the future, the platform will cover not only installers, but also other professions essential to the solar energy sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe plan to scale the project, involve more educational institutions and training companies, and gradually form a unified workforce hub for Ukraine\u2019s solar energy sector,\u201d added Mr. Sokolovskyi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Job Fair platform, like the Installer Catalog itself, is a free and non-commercial initiative of SEAU.
