{"id":19872,"date":"2025-09-24T12:22:46","date_gmt":"2025-09-24T09:22:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/?page_id=19872"},"modified":"2025-09-24T22:36:15","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T19:36:15","slug":"retrieve","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/en\/retrieve\/","title":{"rendered":"SEAU \u2013 Official Partner of the RETRIEVE Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Solar Energy Association of Ukraine (SEAU) has joined the European scientific and innovation project RETRIEVE \u00a0(Reintegration of Photovoltaic Panel Waste Back into Manufacturing as High-Value Products), implemented under the EU\u2019s Horizon Europe\u00a0 framework programme.<\/p>\n<p>The project aims to create a closed-loop recycling system for photovoltaic modules. RETRIEVE focuses on developing technologies for glass reuse, silicon purification, silver and other metal recovery, and polymer recycling. This will make it possible to transform waste into valuable raw materials for modern photovoltaic modules, reduce the negative environmental impact, and enhance resource independence.<\/p>\n<p>For SEAU, participation in the project is an opportunity to represent the Ukrainian solar energy sector at the European level, contribute to cutting-edge technological solutions, and support the implementation of circular economy principles in the energy sector.<\/p>\n<p>Within the RETRIEVE project, SEAU focuses on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>conducting market analysis;<\/li>\n<li>identifying legal barriers to the implementation of circular solutions in energy;<\/li>\n<li>preparing analyses and proposals for regulatory acts on the recycling and reuse of solar panels;<\/li>\n<li>preparing recommendations for adapting Ukrainian legislation to EU requirements;<\/li>\n<li>developing policy roadmaps for solar panel recycling and reuse;<\/li>\n<li>facilitating knowledge exchange and the adoption of innovative technologies;<\/li>\n<li>fostering cooperation among scientific, industrial, and civil society organizations to advance the transition to a circular economy in renewable energy;<\/li>\n<li>disseminating project results among Ukrainian and European stakeholders.<br \/>\nThe RETRIEVE consortium, formed to implement the project, includes SEAU and 16 partners from 10 countries \u2013 leading research organizations, scientific centers, industrial companies, and industry associations from Norway, Germany, Spain, France, Lithuania, T\u00fcrkiye, Belgium, Switzerland, Romania, and Ukraine.<a style=\"font-size: 16px; text-align: center; background-color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/0301c727-2d95-464a-9066-6b3180dd8cc8.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19855 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/0301c727-2d95-464a-9066-6b3180dd8cc8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"860\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/0301c727-2d95-464a-9066-6b3180dd8cc8.png 1024w, https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/0301c727-2d95-464a-9066-6b3180dd8cc8-300x252.png 300w, https:\/\/aseu.org.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/0301c727-2d95-464a-9066-6b3180dd8cc8-768x645.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>SEAU welcomes all members of the consortium.
